LAUNCH Smartlink C 2.0 HGV Diagnostics Module for Commercial Vehicles

Overview

The LAUNCH Smartlink C 2.0 is a dedicated heavy-duty diagnostic interface designed for use with selected Launch X431 diagnostic tablets. Unlike a standalone diagnostic tool, the Smartlink C 2.0 acts as a specialised truck module that enables compatible Launch scanners to perform commercial vehicle diagnostics on trucks, buses, agricultural equipment, construction machinery and other heavy-duty vehicles.

This module is commonly used with Launch diagnostic platforms such as the X431 PRO3S+ Elite, V+ PRO3, PRO5, APEX, and other compatible X431 devices. Once connected and activated, users can download the heavy-duty software package and gain access to commercial vehicle diagnostic functions directly from their existing Launch scanner.

The LAUNCH Smartlink C 2.0 is the successor to the older Launch HDIII module and offers faster communication speeds, improved stability and enhanced functionality. The upgraded hardware platform provides improved data transmission and a more modern diagnostic experience when working on commercial vehicles.

For workshops already using a Launch X431 scanner, this truck module provides a cost-effective way to expand into commercial vehicle diagnostics without purchasing a completely separate truck diagnostic system. By adding the Smartlink C 2.0 and the relevant software package, technicians can diagnose a wide variety of heavy-duty vehicle systems using the same familiar Launch platform.

In addition to truck diagnostics, the platform also supports machinery diagnostics for selected agricultural and construction equipment manufacturers. This makes the Smartlink C 2.0 particularly attractive for workshops servicing mixed fleets of trucks, buses, agricultural machinery and industrial equipment.
